Installation of SACMI PH 5600 Press Equipment (150 Tons) for CERSANIT

At the CERSANIT production facility, SM Industry carried out a comprehensive scope of works for the installation of SACMI PH 5600 press equipment with a total weight of 150 tons. The project began with the unloading of two large press components: one weighing 100 tons and the other 50 tons. After unloading, the elements were transferred onto a manoeuvring platform for transport to the installation area inside the production hall. The next stage involved installing the press frame, which weighs 100 tons. This operation required lifting, tilting the frame by 90 degrees, and precisely positioning it in a prepared foundation pit located below ground level. After the frame was installed, assembly tables and the die were mounted, followed by the connection of utility lines and all auxiliary systems required to fully commission the equipment. The works were carried out using the Enerpac SLB-300 hydraulic gantry system and a specialised manoeuvring platform that allows heavy load movement in confined production spaces. The project was delivered by a team of six highly qualified SM Industry specialists. All works were completed on time, according to the agreed schedule, with full compliance with safety requirements and technical standards.
