Client: Leading European ceramic tile manufacturer
Scope: Relocation of complete kiln line including dryers, rollers, and handling equipment

As part of a production optimization program, SM Industry was contracted to relocate a complete ceramic kiln line from one hall to another within the same manufacturing site. The project included dismantling high-temperature equipment, transportation through narrow access points, and full mechanical and electrical reinstallation with commissioning support.

Key highlights:

  • Relocation of over 300 linear meters of equipment, including dryers, roller conveyors, burners, and control panels

  • Specialized handling of refractory insulation materials with full health & safety measures

  • Floor reinforcement and leveling at the new location prior to installation

  • Precise alignment of transport rollers and synchronization of automation components

  • Mechanical and electrical integration with the central SCADA system

  • Project completed in 16 working days, followed by test firing and production restart

This project highlights SM Industry’s expertise in handling temperature-sensitive, heavy, and technically complex equipment used in ceramic production — while ensuring continuity, safety, and performance at every stage.
