Client: Public healthcare infrastructure provider
Scope: Installation of two 40-ton diesel backup generators with full M&E integration

SM Industry was contracted to install two emergency power generators as part of a critical infrastructure upgrade for a regional hospital. The generators were essential to ensure uninterrupted power supply during blackouts and grid instability.

The project included unloading, precise positioning in a restricted basement-level engine room, alignment, vibration damping system installation, as well as full mechanical and electrical integration with the hospital’s switchgear and fuel supply.

Use of hydraulic skidding system and gantries to navigate narrow access points
Installation of anti-vibration mounts, exhaust ducting, and fuel supply piping
